The organisation behind the Eastern European Convergence portfolio is organised in a network structure, where members of the teams are represented in more than one team.

Portfolio decisions are made by the Eastern European convergence portfolio management team based upon information received from the network organisation, but the head of the portfolio management team has the final say. At weekly meetings, information is freely exchanged and shared by research and portfolio management teams.

The network supporting the Eastern European portfolio management team is characterised by a matrix structure with teams located in Denmark, Finland, Estonia, and Lithuania.
