The companies' market capitalisation must be min. EUR 50m and max. of EUR 5bn.

Product details

In European small and mid cap equity portfolios our goal is to obtain excess return primarily from a bottom-up approach to company selection. The investment universe is Europe. We consider the UK and continental Europe as two independent regions where the weightings are determined by a top-down approach.

We prepare independent research on both companies and markets as part of the stock selection process, and we also make extensive use of research from the major brokerage firms. Stock selection is based on the following criteria:

Company management,
Market conditions/product factors,
Financial strength,
Valuation and growth potential.

Assessments of the current market situation, country and company-specific risk, and the liquidity of individual stocks are supplementary factors to be considered in selecting companies for the portfolio.
